I'm still in disbelief that gov't retirees and employees aren't up in arms. The number of folks who think the Fund's troublesome state is the fault of Merrill Lynch or the Fund administrators themselves shows how uninformed or manipulatively informed many folks are, which is sad. How destructive legislators continue to skirt blame from their constituents is amazing.
For more than 20 years the Retirement Fund has asked 'who's going to pay for it?' about every election-year addition to benefits.
What if accounts get seized ala Munson and the landowner?
