Gad, this feeds so many stereotypes, I really shouldn't run it. Oh, well.
Supposedly, first cousins can marry in 26 states, but only five let homosexuals marry.
And I really don't have anything else to say. To repeat the email that was forwarded to me "Thought you might like this..."
The graphic says it's from the New York Times, but I couldn't find it in a search. The New Civil Rights Movement had it.
Just because I was curious, tracked down age of consent laws, too.

West Virginians always counter the hillbilly jokes from people who live in Virginia with "at least we don't legalize marriage between first cousins."
I find it very backward and out-dated to have different ages for consensual sex for males and females. Do they think boys are more mature? Is this retro thinking that they won't get pregnant, so no harm to them? Doesn't research show that at teen years, girls are actually MORE mature than boys and therefore better capable of making decisions like this? Or do they just think boys can't keep it zipped up?
aaargh!
Unfortunately, I can help nothing. I think, you will find the correct decision.
